Raised Bed - The planting bed consists of four components: a bed border, a liner for the soil, a foil roof and a net to protect against pests. The border can be filled with special soil - depending on the planting requirements - and the lining also allows the planting bed to be used on hard ground, e.g. in school playgrounds. The foil roof protects the plants from heavy rain, frost and direct sunlight. By planting and caring for flowers, vegetables or herbs, children learn about the cycle of nature.
